This past Saturday, June 15, 2024, a bunch of wonderful people came out to clean the Sampson Community Club, both inside and out! It was an amazing day filled with lots of laughter. These volunteers exhibited such ambition, comradery, and determination. So much more was accomplished than we ever could have hoped for! An amazing group showed up that day. Thank you so much!!! Your efforts are very much appreciated! This special building, which has been dedicated to the community, certainly benefitted from all of your care this past weekend. Way to go, people! Thank you so much again!!! Below are pictures of some of the tasks. I wish I was able to snap a picture of Ken Bartlett who showed up with his tractor and weed-eater! Also, Robert Manzanares, I missed a great shot of you with your chain saw on that ornery tree branch in the parking lot! Again, thanks to all who made such an impact on this beloved old School House!
We found one of the old school Flags! Now proudly presented in the foyer!
So, it begins!
The plan of attack…
Don’t worry, I got this!
That’s the face of determination…Success is the only option!
A quick break is in order!
A very happy helper!
Great to see our youth involved in preservation efforts
Nothing like having clean windows and fresh paint!!!
Taking a break!
Woot, we’re getting there!
More pictures to come!
